Cohort 1 Micro-research students attend the MURTI Symposium

In regard to the HEPI-TUITAH aim 3 which is “To develop the capacity of undergraduate health professional students in rural Uganda to conduct locally relevant biomedical, behavioral, clinical, and operations research in HIV and its co-morbidities”, HEPI-TUITAH cohort 1 micro research students from Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Lira University and Bishop Stuart University were invite to attend the Mbarara University Research Training Initiative symposium. This is a research capacity building grant that has been running at MUST for the last 5 years where a number of junior faculties have been funded to conduct ground breaking health related researches that were disseminated on the 20th of February 2020 in the MURTI symposium. This was an inspiring event for the HEPI-TUITAH cohort 1 Micro-research students whose proposals are currently undergoing ethical review exercise.
